Village Vineyard
A Church Community
SMALL GROUPS
Why should I join a Small Group?
Because becoming authentic Christian disciples doesn't happen overnight and rarely happens in a big group of people. That's why Small Groups are the heartbeat of the Village Vineyard. They are where we connect, build relationships with one another and have our spiritual needs met in a casual, safe environment. They are where we grow in discipleship; where we love, learn and do.
Our model is Acts 2:42 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." We invite you to join us as we grow in relationship with God and each other. When Jesus went about making disciples, he did it in a small group. He went out and picked a few people who had the motivation and desire to hang out with Him. That is what we are trying to do with the small groups here at Village Vineyard: Provide each person the opportunity and the setting to passionately follow Jesus.
Our Sunday services are very important to our life as a church, but a Small Group is more interactive, providing room for discussion, asking questions, sharing, and caring for each other.
As God grows our church, we need to find a way to make the Village Vineyard feel like a close knit family, to find a team, to build a group you want to invite your unbelieving family and friends as well because it's alive with love and the presence of God.
Each group has its own feel. Visit several, then stay with one.
